Halloween at Crumlin Road Gaol
Crumlin Road Gaol have introduced a child friendly scary tour around the gaol with a Pumpkin Patch and Carving Station. There will also be a haunting Halloween Scare Attraction to suit both those seeking a heart pounding fear fest and a Cursed Combo of both the Scare Attraction and a Paranormal Event for those seeking a ghostly experience in a haunted prison which witnessed the execution of 17 men over its 150 year history. There is something to suit everyone at Crumlin Road Gaol.

SKYTREK by Starlight
Visit Colin Glen Forest Park for this year’s SKYTREK by Starlight’s Halloween Experience and dress to impress this spooky season by taking on the Ultimate Ropes course under the moonlight. Take a walk through the sky 50ft high at Ireland’s premier ropes activity centre, complete with fan descender free-fall, 90 metre zipline and 30 foot multi-level climbing wall!

Cinemagic Halloween at the Museum – Hocus Pocus
Celebrate Halloween with Cinemagic at the Ulster Museum and enjoy this fancy dress screening of the classic Halloween film, Hocus Pocus. The event takes place in the Lecture Theatre in the Ulster Museum. We all love a Halloween movie so why not make the most of it and get the kids dressed up in their best Halloween costumes. Children aged 2 and under do not require a paid for ticket.
Gruffalo Halloween Guided Walk
Colin Glen Forest Park are also offering Ireland’s only official Gruffalo Trail; a Julia Donaldson-endorsed guided walk with a Halloween twist! Bring your little ones along and go right inside the glorious Gruffalo and Stickman stories – search for the famous characters in the woods and listen wide-eyed and wondered to the classic tales.
Children can pick their own pumpkin to design, carve and takeaway along with their own Julia Donaldson book and special Gruffalo certificate.
