Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival returns 19 – 20 May 2018 with a bumper-packed weekend full of maritime-themed family fun, food and frolics.

There will be an array of entertainment across Queen’s Quay and Titanic Quarter to keep you entertained, with live music from the Queen’s Quay music marquee each day, roving street performers and shows and plenty of free activities for the whole family to enjoy, including face painting, maritime themed workshops, fairground rides, outdoor fun and games, fly-board jet ski displays and water-based ‘come and try it’ sessions plus much more.

New to this year’s event is the Maritime Mile, an animated waterfront trail that encourages people to explore the area’s maritime and industrial history. Visitors can experience Northern Ireland’s own hidden gems, from the SS Nomadic to the historic Titanic and Olympic slipways, along with new additions to Titanic Quarter – the Titanic Walkway, and one of the world’s largest and rarest lighthouse optics, The Great Light. The Maritime Mile guides visitors down towards HMS Caroline, the last survivor of the Battle of Jutland, and into the Thompson Dock, the massive 44ft Dry Dock where the infamous Titanic was fitted out.

The Maritime Festival also celebrates everything home-grown, and the historic Hamilton Dock will host a pop-up Titanic Street Food Market showcasing the best of our world-class food culture with local producers, artisan stalls, cookery demos, wine and seasonal produce tasting and lots of seafood surprises.
